Earth it was called.
Blue of the oceans and green of the land.

saw this marble of brown and dust
in the black void of space.
Earth it was called.
Brown of dried up oceans and dust to mark it’s end.

I dreamt on a star once
saw this marble emitting streaks of light
in the black void of space.
Called a dead planet.
Ships spewing the human virus into space.

I dreamt no more.
